Richard King joined joined Premium Credit in April 2026 as Chief Operating Officer. 

Richard brings deep expertise in running and transforming operations in regulated environments across banking and payments. Before joining Premium Credit, Richard held a variety of senior transformation and operations roles at GE, Barclays, HSBC and Worldpay and more recently was the COO of insurance payments scale-up, Vitesse.

Richard has delivered several large-scale transformations utilising emerging technology and process frameworks to drive balanced scorecard growth and efficiencies. He is very focussed on colleague engagement and leading colleagues through complex multi-year transformation and has extensive experience of working across Europe, US and Asia.
